• For residential houses, commercial buildings and public buildings
  • Individual solutions for the most varied of properties
  • Production of tailor-made shaft scaffolds
  • Faster, simpler installation through crane erection

The demands on passenger lifts are high. These days, they must be flexibly adaptable, comfortable, safe and economical. Passenger lifts from HIRO LIFT fulfil these requirements and are suitable for use in residential houses, commercial buildings and public buildings. They can be installed in customer-provided walled shafts or we can manufacture a suitable shaft scaffold for you at the same time.

As an architect or planner, you know first and foremost: No construction project is the same as another. The requirements may be similar but it is always an individual solution that is requested – and that is what we can deliver to you. Today the problem is the small amount of space available. Tomorrow it will be to implement particular design wishes. HIRO LIFT will address your wishes and requirements.

Rely on the most up-to-date technology and around 120 years of experience in conveyance equipment. With HIRO LIFT you have a partner on your side who knows exactly what is needed. Difficult technical, design or creative challenges are our daily business.

HIRO LIFT faced international challenges early on. Our lifts are in use in buildings around the world – sometimes with private operators, sometimes in company headquarters, on ships or in world-famous buildings.

Passenger lift in a residential and commercial building

Located on the outskirts of Bielefeld city center you can find this new building. In order to ensure a barrier-free access to all levels of the four-storey building, a passenger lift of HIRO-Classic series has been installed in the stairwell.

Shaft scaffold

All HIRO LIFT passenger lifts can be installed in customer-provided masonry shafts or concrete shafts or can be delivered in the self-supporting shaft scaffold. The scaffold comprises a powder-coated aluminium profile system developed by HIRO LIFT or can be made from stainless steel and is suitable for use in stairwell voids or for retrospective integration in existing buildings and for both indoor and outdoor use. A great variety of options is available for the finishing colours. Painted aluminium elements or laminated safety glass can be considered for cladding. If transparent glass materials are being used, this creates a particularly appealing effect that is often seen in modern architecture. Passenger lifts with aluminium and glass shaft scaffolds also offer numerous design opportunities. It is possible – to cite just one example – to create a variant with two masonry walls and to have the opposite sides clad with glass.

Crane mounting: A passenger lift is erected

All construction sites are unique and so the type of lift installation is heavily dependent on the on-site conditions.

In general, our experienced installation technicians assemble the lift and all of the associated components directly on-site. However, this is not always possible. No problem for HIRO LIFT: We pre-assemble the lift in the Bielefeld factory and transport it in one piece to its point of installation. In such cases we utilise a sophisticated and efficient method: Crane installation.

Here the shaft is lifted into the existing shaft pit with a telescopic crane. Then the drive and cab are hung in place in the shaft and all components firmly fastened together. This enables us to install the lift quickly even in very tight spaces thus ensuring a perfect end product for you.
