HIRO 160 stair lift mounted on the inside of the stairwell

Many stairwells have doors adjoining them. To ensure that the stair lift or the track for the stair lift does not pose an obstacle, it is advisable to route the rack up the inside of the stairwell. In this example, the HIRO 160 model is designed and installed to run on the inside of the stairwell. All doors and passageways remain free. Furthermore, both stopping stations for the lift at the top and bottom of the stairwell have been arranged clear of the stairs. This guarantees the user a safe location to get on or off the stair lift. The complete hall area remains free.

Data and facts for this example case:

  • Drive track routed up the inside of the stairwell
  • Park positions outside the stairwell area
  • Hall area remains free
