Personal data

Personal data is all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes all information about your identity, such as your name, your e-mail address or postal address and online identifiers. The legal basis for processing this data is Article 6 Para. 1 f GDPR.

We process this data so that the website can be shown on your computer. The IP address is not used by us to identify the user. However, we may use the collected IP adresses for (anonymous) statistical evaluations. Furthermore, we use the information to prevent misuse. Moreover, we use the data for operating the online service, in particular to detect and eliminate errors, to determine the utilisation of the online service and to make adjustments or improvements.

These purposes simultaneously justify the legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 Para. 1 f GDPR.

Your computer's IP address is only stored for the time of use of the online service and is subsequently deleted or made anonymous by truncation. The remaining data is stored for a limited duration not exceeding seven days.

Use of cookies

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics for statistical analyses. Google Analytics is a web analysis service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94034, USA („Google“). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer to help the website analyse how visitors use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will normally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States of America. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated beforehand within a member state of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the US and truncated there.

Communicating with us

You can get in touch with us in different ways, including the contact form on our website.

Contact form

If you want to use the contact form in our online service, we record the personal data that you must enter in the contact form, such as your name and email address. We also store the IP address and date and time of the enquiry.

We process the data transmitted via the contact form exclusively for the purpose of being able to answer your enquiry or your request.

After we have dealt with the matter, the data will initally be stored in the event of any further queries. Deletion of the data can be requested at any time; otherwise deletion takes place after the matter has been completely settled.

Legal basis for using contact options, revocation

The legal basis for processing the data for using the contact options provided is your consent in accordance with Article 6 Para 1 a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time. We will then delete the data immediately unless we are obliged to store it in accordance with commercial or tax regulations.

Social media

Our online service includes links to the social networks Facebook, Google+ and Instagram, the career network Xing, Flickr, a photo service from Yahoo, and the short messaging service Twitter. The links can be recognised by the providers' respective logo.

Your rights

You have a right to information regarding the personal data concerning you and a right to have the data corrected, deleted or restricted. Furthermore, you have have a right to object to the processing of personal data.

If the processing of your data is based on a consent or a contract, you also have the right to obtain this data from us. In that case, you also have the right to transfer this data to another controller. To this end, you have the right that this data is transmitted directly by us to another controller.
